Beatriz “Bia” Haddad Maia comes from a family with a strong tennis tradition. Her mother, Lais Scaff Haddad, and grandmother, Arlette Scaff Haddad, were both professional tennis players in Brazil, playing a key role in her early development.
Bia started playing tennis at age 5 and has stood out ever since for her determination, mental strength, and love for the sport.
In parallel with her athletic career, Bia also pursued her education, earning a degree in Business Administration through distance learning at Estácio de Sá University.
